Senior Project Manager

Mr Matthew Timbrell, a mechanical engineering professional with over 15 years experience in Operations and Major Projects (Mining & Processing), and has been appointed to the key role of Senior Project Manager for Cazaly Resources.

Most recently Matthew worked for Rio Tinto Iron Ore Expansion Projects, where he was the Project Manager of the A$400m Hope Downs South Project in the East Pilbara. Previous to this he held senior operations, engineering and project management roles with WMC Resources and BHP Billiton Nickel West. He has extensive divisional and project management experience across a range of commodities, including Iron Ore, Copper, Uranium, Gold, Fertiliser, and Nickel.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering – Mechanical (First Class Honours) – from the University of Western Australia and is a member of the Institution of Engineers Australia.
