Ethel Creek Project

CAZ: 100%

The Ethel Creek Project is a strategic land position in the world class Pilbara iron ore region of Western Australia. The project consists of a single tenement application over 625 sq km approximately 40km north east of Newman.

The majority of Australia’s iron ore resources and production are located in the Pilbara region of north-western Australia. The combined resources are in the region of some 32,000 Mt. In the Hamersley Province, the ores variously occur as bedded, channel and detrital iron deposits. Mining of iron ore commenced in the Pilbara in 1966. Production in the Pilbara was previously dominated by a duopoly of Hamersley Iron (Rio Tinto) and BHP Billiton, broken by new explorers and producers, including Fortescue Metals Group, Atlas Iron and numerous other explorers with small to large projects, leading to a diversified production profile in the future.

Conceptual work by Cazaly indicates the prospectivity for Channel Iron Deposits at the Ethel Creek Project. Furthermore, nearby road and railway infrastructure provides development advantages.

Work programs are being designed by the company which can be initiated once access is available.
