Jillewarra Project (WA)

CAZ 100%

The Jillewarra Project is made up of three Exploration Licences (E 51/1091, E51/1458 and E 51/1114) and a Prospecting Licence (P51/2565) covering a total area of 225 square kilometres. The tenements are located between 50 km and 75 km west-northwest of Meekatharra, within the Meekatharra Mineral Field in the Murchison Province of Western Australia.

The Jillewarra Project incorporates a significant portion of the Archaean Mingah Greenstone Belt, which has been folded into a broad south-plunging anticline. The exposed western limb of the anticline dips steeply to the southwest and the poorly exposed eastern limb dips to the east-southeast. The north-north-easterly trending eastern limb of the Mingah Range anticline is intersected by numerous north-northeast trending faults.

The Project area contains three historic Gold Mining Centres; the Wardabie, Big Ben and Hewitt’s Find. Also, a number of small high-grade epigenetic gold deposits, lead - barium vein deposits and layered ultramafic/mafic sills (containing anomalous nickel and copper values) have been identified by historic work in the area.

CAZALY EXPLORATION

Cazaly has completed a helicopter borne electromagnetic and magnetic survey over a portion of E51/1114 and P51/2565, geological mapping and two geochemical sampling programmes covering a large area of the Project.

The objective of the Heliborne RepTEM survey was to identify bedrock conductors that could represent the source of geochemical soil anomalies. The RepTEM survey worked well within the Project area and a number of conductive zones of interest were identified as well as several major structures noted from the RepTEM and magnetic data.

Interpretation of these exploration programmes has now been finalised and identified numerous targets and two have been given a high priority for follow-up work: the Guga Prospect and the Zapata Prospect. Cazaly plans to follow-up these promising targets with extensive field work during 2012 including geochemical and deeper RC drilling.

Guga Prospect

The Guga Prospect contains gold, copper, zinc and lead soil anomalies over a strike of approximately 2 km on a NE/SW trend. The anomaly is coincident with a fault interpreted from the geophysical survey and verified by field reconnaissance. NNW/SSE faults are interpreted on the target area, generating dextral displacements over the mineralised strike. The electromagnetic survey identified electromagnetic conductors coincident with the structural and geochemical anomalies. These areas will be the focus of drilling during the year.

Zapata Prospect

The Zapata Prospect contains gold, arsenic, copper, zinc and lead anomalies over approximately 2 km of NNW/SSE strike. The anomaly appears to be structurally controlled and recent mapping has identified a number of coincident structures. RAB and air-core drilling programs are planned for this prospect in early 2012.
